Schwalmere

Schwalmere ( also outdated ( maximum ) Schwalmer ( e ) n) is the name of 2'777 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland.

The Schwalmere is the central peaks of the mountain range between Kander and Lütschinen and dominates her in this view from the north. However, the highest point of the group is the Schilthorn with 2'970 m above sea level. M.

The Schwalmere is located on the ridge which extends in a north-south direction from Morgenberghorn up to the Schilthorn. Southwest of the summit is the Spiggegrund, a tributary of the Kiental. To the northeast lies the Suldtal, in the north / north-east of the Saxettal and to the east / southeast the Sous Valley.

The summit is accessible for hikers and backcountry skiers.
