Scorpions de Mulhouse

The Scorpions de Mulhouse (official name: Association pour le Développement du Hockey mulhousien ) is a French ice hockey team from Mulhouse, which was founded in 2005 and currently plays in the Ligue Magnus.

History

The Association pour le Développement du Hockey mulhousien was founded in 2005 after the previous Hockey Club de Mulhouse went after winning the French league title in bankruptcy. The new Scorpions de Mulhouse had to start their new start in the fourth division Division 3. In the years 2008 and 2009, the direct walkover in the second class Division succeeded first in the 2011/12 season the team finally got into the Ligue Magnus, which after seven years a team from Mulhouse is the first time represented in the highest French Hockey League.
