Scratch (musician)

Kyle "Scratch" Jones (* in Camden, New Jersey) is an American hip hop musician.

Jones was one of the first beat boxers who imitated with the mouth in a musical way, scratch sounds, which also earned him his nickname. He is known primarily by the hip- hop band The Roots, in which he acted as DJ for live performances since 1998. However, in 2003 he left the band and is touring solo around the world. On his 2007 released album Loss 4 Wordz had, among other things Kanye West, Musiq, and the Gorillaz.

In the movie Bamboozled (2000) by Spike Lee with Damon Wayans, Jada Pinkett Smith and Michael Rapaport he looked as with like Marc Levin's Brooklyn Babylon movie from the year 2001.
