Script Doctor

A script doctor is a screenwriter who lack screenplays (English scripts) in a short time " repaired " so that the production of a film may start on time. In some cases, the Script Doctor comes only during the shoot to use.

Unlike "normal" scriptwriters scripts Doctors are often not mentioned in the credits of the film, in which they have participated, although they have perhaps been substantial dramatic changes, since only a small share of the total text of them came from. Are known as scripts Doctors among others William Goldman, Joss Whedon and Lawrence Kasdan.
