Seán O'Brien (rugby player)

Sean Kevin O'Brien (born 14 February 1987 in Carlow ) is an Irish rugby union player. He plays as a striker in the Back Row.

He studied at University College Dublin, for its rugby team, he also played. Since 2008 he plays as a professional for Leinster Rugby, in 65 games he scored 65 points. His greatest achievement was winning the Heineken Cup 2010/11.

For the Irish Rugby Union Team O'Brien played since November 21, 2009 18 times (10 points). He participated in the Six Nations 2010, Six Nations 2011 and the Rugby Union World Cup 2011.
