SEAT Málaga

The Seat Malaga ( in Greece Seat Gredos ) is a four-door notchback sedan in the lower middle class. She was taken in the spring of 1985 as a successor to the seat 131 and the Seat Ronda, on the bottom group they came to market. Technical and optical similarities there as well with the Italian competitor Fiat Regata.

Initially three engines were offered:

  • Malaga 1.2 ³ 1193 cm displacement and 47 kW

  • Malaga 1.7 diesel with 1740 cc and 40 kW

The two petrol engines came from Ronda, the diesel was bought by Fiat.

In 1987, the petrol engine of the Seat Malaga 1.5 was equipped with an injection. The Seat Malaga Injection made ​​74 kW (100 hp) and with catalyst 66 kW (90 hp). The vehicle was 174 km / h or with catalyst 165 km / h fast.

In early 1991 the Malaga was replaced by the Toledo on a VW platform.
