Geography
The Parroquia, with its 190 inhabitants ( as of 2011) has an area of 26.19 km ² and is located at 356 msnm. The next larger town is 7 km away, Sames, capital and administrative center of the municipality Amieva. The river Ponga crosses the Parroquia.
