Sebastián Ariel Romero

Sebastián Ariel Romero (* April 27 1978 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player.

His professional career began in 1996 when the Argentine first division Romero Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata in his hometown of Buenos Aires. After three years in which Romero came on 80 missions and 12 goals, he moved first to Europe and Betis Sevilla. When the Spaniards Argentina played until January 2001, came at this time to a total of 30 appearances in the Primera División. From Sevilla players after loaned to the French first division club FC Toulouse first until the summer of 2001 ( seven inserts, one goal) before he moved in August of the same year, also on loan for a season to Cordoba CF ( 13 inserts). In 2008 he moved back to Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata.

Romero was appointed to the Argentine national football team and was there during a friendly match against Mexico to use one.
