Sebastian Strasser

Sebastian Strasser ( born November 6, 1967 in Sibiu ( Hermannstadt), Romania ) is a German film director. Strasser has received for his directing in advertising more than 60 international awards, including eight Lion at Cannes, the Grand Prix at New York FES, multiple gold and silver at London IAA, D & AD, Eurobest Festival, One Show, Clio Awards, Montreux and numerous Art Directors Club awards. In 2010 he was awarded the D & AD award for best director in France in 2010, a year later, at the VDW Award, the award for best director in Germany 2011. He already ranked in 2005 as the only German in the Gunn Report ranking of "Most Awarded Directors in the World " among the top 20 ( 13th) of the world's top advertising directors.

Life

Sebastian Strasser's parents and grandparents were theater actor. From the age of six he has worked as an actor in theater productions and feature films. His high school he put at the German School in Bucharest - the German Goethe Kolleg - from. From 1993 he studied sports journalism in Cologne and then ( from 1995) Film and Television at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne.
