Sébastien Chavanel

Sébastien Chavanel ( born March 21, 1981 in Chatellerault ) is a French cyclist. He is the younger brother of professional cyclist Sylvain Chavanel.

Career

Sébastien Chavanel was a professional cyclist in 2003 at La Brioche boulangère. In his first year he picked up his first professional victory at the Tour de l' Avenir. The sprinter won two stages. During the 2004 season, he won a stage of the Tour de la Région Wallonne and this time three stages in the Tour de l' Avenir. When GP Internacional Costa Azul 2006 Chavanel won a stage in front of Robbie McEwen.
