Sébastien Puygrenier ( born January 28, 1982 in Limoges ) is a French football player. Since 2013 he plays at Kardemir Karabükspor.

Club career

Sébastien Puygrenier played in the youth teams of the French first division side Stade Rennes. There he was appointed to the first team in December 2001 by then- coach Christian Gourcuff. He received his first professional contract about six months later, however, celebrated its Erstligadebüt only in 2003 in a 4-1 victory over Olympique Lyon. After only two more missions he was given at his own request to the second division club AS Nancy. In their team the defender has established itself as a regular player and celebrate promotion to the Ligue 1 2005. Due to the French transfer rules it was denied him to continue to play on loan, as Nancy was now playing in the same league as Stade Rennes. Because Puygrenier but played no role in the planning of Rennes, he was ultimately sold to his former Leihverein. In July 2008 he moved to Zenit St Petersburg. After half a year in Russia Puygrenier was awarded by January to June 2009 at the Bolton Wanderers. For the 2009/10 season he was further awarded to AS Monaco. After the descent of the Monegasque in the summer of 2011 he returned to St. Petersburg. After he was no longer there considered, changed Puygrenier the beginning of 2012 to his old club AS Nancy in the first French league back.

For the 2013/14 season Puygrenier moved to Turkey for first division Kardemir Karabükspor.
