Secret Symphony is the fifth studio album by the Georgian- British singer Katie Melua.

History

The album was recorded at Air Studios in London in collaboration with an orchestra and conductor Mike Batt.

The Singles Better Than a Dream and The Walls of the World were both originally from Batt for the TV series The dream stone and to be - recorded solo album Schizophonia - 1977 published.

The album debuted early March 2012 at No. 2 in the Swiss charts, also at No. 2 in the German, ranked 3 in the Austrian as well as number 8 in the UK album charts.

Criticism

" [ ... ] " Secret Symphony "is the perfect album for the fans who have heard the old songs too often and desirable replenishment of the exact same variety. Katie Melua whispers slowly as ever and leaves her bluesy - rattling sound occasionally overlap of something that sounds like orchestral film music. With " Moonshine " for their standards quite snappy song is represented, otherwise languished extensively.
