SeeqPod was an Internet search engine for audio and video files. It searches through the entire Internet and provides the links to the searched content. However, the files are officially not downloadable. The user can select playlists, save them for later recall.

Although the website does not provide options to download the content, it is possible with some expertise or suitable software for the user to access the audio and video files and save them locally.

The music industry since the beginning of 2008 already tried, legally proceed against SeeqPod. Although the basic concept of the platform is simply to that on the Google search engine searchable media visually and to prepare and put in playlists available, the legal side of this concept is controversial.

Since April 24, 2009 SeeqPod is no longer accessible over the Internet. Seeqpod offers an API for developers. This serious projects already incurred.

Music Search by SeeqPod is also integrated into Amarok version 2.0 and available for Songbird version 1.0 as an add -on.
