Selespeed

Selespeed is the name for an automatic transmission of Alfa Romeo, which is now also used for Fiat (eg Fiat Stilo Abarth model ). Here are all the components of a conventional circuit available (clutch, gearbox), which are activated but basically automated. In contrast, a conventional fully automatic works on a completely different principle and costs, for example, getting a little power.

Therefore, no clutch pedal is present. The driver only commands for high - and downshifts, then the function automatically activates the elements of the clutch and the transmission. The commands can be operated either via buttons on the steering wheel or a joystick on the center console.
