Sempre Volley

Pallavolo Padova is an Italian men's volleyball club from Padua in the province of Padua ( Veneto region ), which plays in the Italian Serie A.

Pallavolo Padua was founded in 1970 as Petrarca Padova and played a few exceptions, always in the highest Italian league " Serie A1 ". The club had many different names, depending on who was Sporsor, such as Ciesse Padua, Charro Padova, Padua Semprevolley or currently Fidia Padova. The most successful years were from 1988 to 1994, when Padua in the European CEV Cup Third, second four times and 1994 Cup Winners' Cup was even once. In 2005 and 2006, Padua again reached the Final Four in the CEV Cup. During this time, the German international Christian Pampel, Björn Andrae and later Robert Kromm played for the club. After the 2011/12 season Padua had to descend ( with the German Sebastian Schwarz ) in the "Series A2".
