The Seoul National University Gymnasium is a sports venue in Seoul, South Korea. The multi-functional hall is located in the campus of Seoul National University, Gwanak -gu, and is now used for sports and educational purposes of the university.

History

The sports facility was used for the 1988 Summer Olympics in South Korea built and completed in 1986. In this multi-function hall, the table tennis competitions and badminton competitions were held at Olympia in 1988. However, the latter had only the status of a Vorführsportart and it was therefore determined no official Olympic champion in badminton. Table tennis, however, was the first time in the Olympic program. After the Olympic Hall continues to be used as a sports venue, including for the Korea Open in badminton. The capacity of the hall is 5000 seats.
