Sergei O. Prokofieff

Sergei O. Prokofieff (Russian: Сергей Олегович Прокофьев, also: Sergei Prokofiev Olegovich; * 1954 in Moscow ) is a Russian anthroposophist.

Life

Sergei O. Prokofieff is the son of the artist, sculptor and poet Oleg Sergeyevich Prokofiev and the literary Sofya Leonidovna and a grandson of the composer Sergei Sergeyevich Prokofiev. He holds a degree in painting and art history at the Art Academy in Moscow.

Prokofiev wrote his first book, Rudolf Steiner, and the foundation of the new Mysteries, while living in the Soviet Union; the book was published in Germany in 1982. It occurs as a lecturer and writer and works since 2001 as a board member on the Board of the General Anthroposophical Society at the Goetheanum in Dornach. This executive position he had to resign for health reasons recently.

Prokofiev written work consists primarily in the development of various Christological issues at the foundation of the research of Rudolf Steiner.

In addition to recognizing some of the members of the General Anthroposophical Society, for his loyalty to Sergei O. Prokofieff Rudolf Steiner also encounters resistance to his positions.

Sergei O. Prokofieff assessment for literary works of the stigmatized, Judith von Halle is increasingly faced with criticism. Some authors have also put forward arguments against the methodical approach Prokofiev in his published works. Other authors have observed the solidity of his work.
