Sergio Álvarez Boulet

Sergio Alvarez Boulet ( born October 11, 1979 in Matanzas ) is a Cuban weightlifter.

Sporting career

Sergio Alvarez Boulet took part in the Summer Olympic Games in 2000 in part to Sydney, where up to 56 kg, he could win the fifth place in the weight class. He won at the 2006 World Cup silver medal in the category up to 56 kg with a capacity of 279 kg. 2007 took the Cubans to fourth place with 274 kg.

After he finished at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing with 272 kg in sixth place, his next international competition was the 2009 World Championships in Goyang. There he was 274 kg in behind the Chinese Long with 292 kg and 286 kg with Wu reach third place in the duel, and 154 kg in the pushing, reach.
