2001 World Weightlifting Championships

The 14th World Weightlifting Championships of women and 71 World Championships in the Men's Weightlifting took place from 4th to 11th November 2001 in the Turkish city of Antalya instead. At the of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF ) in a duel ( tearing and piercing ) discharged competitions took 114 weightlifters from 34 nations and 153 weightlifters from 47 nations participate.
