1985 World Weightlifting Championships

The 59th World Weightlifting Championships of the men were held from 23 August to 1 September 1985 in the Swedish town of Södertälje instead. At the of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF ) in a duel ( tearing and piercing ) discharged competitions took part 195 weightlifters from 38 nations.
