1971 World Weightlifting Championships

The 45th World Weightlifting Championships of the men were held from 18 to 26 September 1971 in the Peruvian capital Lima instead. On the last of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF ) in the three-way battle ( press, snatch and jerk ) discharged competitions participated 144 weightlifters from 30 nations.
