1988 World Weightlifting Championships

The 2nd World Weightlifting Championships of women were held from December 2 to 4, 1988 in the Indonesian capital Jakarta instead. At the of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF ) in a duel ( tearing and piercing ) discharged competitions took part 103 weightlifters from 23 nations.
