1998 World Weightlifting Championships
The 12th World Weightlifting Championships of women and 69 World Championships in the Men's Weightlifting found from 7 to 15 November 1998 in the Finnish city of Lahti instead. At the of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF ) in a duel ( tearing and piercing ) discharged competitions took 122 weightlifters from 35 nations and 210 weightlifters from 53 nations participate.
