1970 World Weightlifting Championships

The 44th World Weightlifting Championships of the men were held from 12 to 20 September 1970 in the U.S. city of Columbus, Ohio, instead. At the of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF ) in the three-way battle ( press, snatch and jerk ) discharged competitions took part 129 weightlifters from 28 nations.
