1981 World Weightlifting Championships

The 55th World Weightlifting Championships of the men were held from 13 to 20 September 1981 in the French city of Lille instead. At the of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF ) in a duel ( tearing and piercing ) discharged competitions took part 194 weightlifters from 35 nations.
