Serhat Akyüz

Serhat Akyuz ( born August 10, 1984 in Istanbul) is a Turkish footballer who currently plays for MKE Ankaragucu.

Career

Club career

Serhat Akyuz started the club football in the youth of Terazitepe SK and in 1999 in the youth of İstanbulspor. In the spring of 2004 he was awarded a professional contract here and was incorporated into the Squad. By the end of the season, he completed seven league games for the first team. In his second season he conquered a regular place and played here for another season long.

After the relegation of his club in the TFF 1 Lig it came to the separation and Akyuz moved to the new season for first division Çaykur Rizespor. Here he played for three seasons and was with his club at the end of the 2007/08 season in the league not make it.

So he moved to the new season for the first division Konyaspor. In his first season for his club again failed to avoid relegation. This time he went with his team in the first ligament Here he succeeded on the playoffs the direct re- ascent.

For the new season, he left this club and moved to first division İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor. Here he played a season and then separated from the club.

In the summer he signed with his old club and second division Çaykur Rizespor one-year contract. With this club Salk reached the end of the season runner-up of the League and thus promotion to the Süper Lig Şalkkam during his time at Konyaspor to only two Cup stakes. After the climb, he joined the second division Balikesirspor. Already the next winter break, he left this club towards third division MKE Ankaragucu.

National team career

2005 Akyuz was once nominated for the Turkish U -21 national team, but he did not play. With the Olympic selection of the Turkish national team, he took part in the 2005 Mediterranean Games and won the silver medal.

Trivia

  • Serhat Akyuz comes from a family footballers. The cousin of his father Saffet Akyuz is a former Turkish national team and his own cousin Suleiman Akyuz was active among others Zeytinburnuspor. His younger brother Kubilay Akyuz plays in the youth of Galatasaray.
