SeSiSo-Club

The SeSiSo club was a cultural and political discussion groups in Germany of the 1920s, whose members are assigned to the different political directions. It consisted of 2 January 1922 to the 1930s.

He made it his mission to carry out the spirit of the Enlightenment and humanism events in Berlin Hotel Kaiserhof with up to 400, mostly celebrity guests and thereby allow an exchange of views on issues of the day.

The name of the " clubs " ( unofficially, the SeSiSo club was never registered in the register and there was also no membership ) was derived from the name of its chairman Hans von Seeckt, Walter Simons and Wilhelm Solf.

Although emanated mostly no political influence of the meetings of the SeSiSo clubs, its members were in the time of National Socialism members of different resistance groups, such as the Solf Circle, whose members were close to the SeSiSo club or the German Society, 1914.

Bethmann - Food

Once a year, on November 29, the birthday Chancellor Theobald von Bethmann Hollweg, was the so-called Bethmann - food, a hosted from SeSiSo Club Gala celebrity guests instead. In memory of the liberal Bethmann Hollweg they met for intellectual conversation. The first Bethmann -Essen took place on 29 November 1921 Walther Rathenau and Kurt von Hammerstein - Equord honored Seeckt, Simons and Solf with their visit.
