This king is occupied only in the Turin Royal Canon and is considered here as the 20th ruler of the 13th Dynasty. His throne name is incompletely preserved. Are attributed to him in Medamud also a stele from Abydos and inscriptions.

Jürgen von Beckerath believed that it is Seth a priest mentioned in the pedigree of Memphis king with the strange name " Aaqen " ( ˁ 3QN - The donkey is strong) could act. The full name of King Seth would " Sethqen " ( Seth is strong) gelautet. However, since the god Seth was outlawed at the time of the 22nd Dynasty, the hieroglyph of the Seth - animal had been replaced by the hieroglyph of the donkey ( ˁ 3) in the name.
