Shakti - The Power (Translation: The force or violence) is an Indian film directed by Krishna Vamsi from the year 2002.
Action
Nandini lives with her two unmarried uncles in Canada. They have dedicated their lives to the task, to educate them and raise in a loving and gentle environment. Nandini is a beautiful, loving, intelligent young woman, albeit a little spoiled. Your uncle have a medium sized successful department store, which completely secures them existence.
Nandini marries Shikhar, who has lived for eight years in the States and is the best friend of her. Nandini and Shikhar soon get Raja - a son. For three years, everything is perfect, learns to Shikar one day on TV from a massacre in a town in northern India. He is very excited and is anxious that his mother could possibly be violated and that he wanted to visit for a few days. Nandini insists on accompanying him.
Once there, she realizes that his family is headed by his charismatic, powerful and extremely violent father. Narsimha lives with his brothers in the war. But then Shikar dies in the battle of two warring family members and Nandini is shipped her violent father, who takes away their Raja.
The way back seems impossible. Will she manage to flee with her son? Shortly thereafter she meets Jaisingh to escape a poor peasant boy who helps her with her son. When the tire from Jaisingh breaks, is one of the brothers of the three Narsimha and orders his Leueten Nandini and Raja kill. The three races of his people continued.
