Shane Brennan

Shane Brennan ( born 1957 in Bendigo, Victoria) is an Australian screenwriter and producer.

Career

Shane Brennan received a 1987 AFI Award for Best Miniseries Screenplay of the Australian mini-series In Between, whose screenplay he had written. In 1999 he wrote the screenplay for the movie Witch Hunt. Brennan also wrote episodes of several other series, including CSI: Miami and McLeod's Daughters.

Mainly Brennan writes for the American television series NCIS. Since the fifth season of this series, he is also a producer and developed the spin-off NCIS:. LA where Brennan has also worked as showrunner. In 2011 he extended his contract with Columbia Broadcasting System for an eight -figure sum for a further three years.
