Shane Rimmer

Shane Rimmer ( born May 28, 1932 in Toronto, Canada ) is a Canadian actor who became known for the voice of Scott Tracy in the television series Thunderbirds fame. He also starred in numerous film classics such as Out of Africa (1985 ) and Gandhi (1982 ) supporting roles. However, his best-known film role he held in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me (1977 ) as a U- boat captain Carter

Life

Rimmer began his career in 1958 with the first television roles. He had his first feature film appearance in Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964). His breakthrough came with the voice of Scott Tracy in the television series Thunderbirds ( 1965-66 ).

The following year, he was seen for the first time in a James Bond movie: James Bond 007 - You Only Live Twice, but he was not mentioned in the credits. In 1971, Rimmer in Diamonds Are Forever, the supporting role of Tom play and 1977 he was with the role of submarine Captain Carter in The Spy Who loved me a greater role to play.

Rimmer's career given countless supporting roles in famous movies. He also appeared in episodes known television series in supporting roles.

Rimmer is married and has three sons. He lives in Hertfordshire and 2003 published his autobiography.
