Shanxi Television

Shanxi Television (Chinese山西 广播 电视 总 台, abbreviation SXTV ) is a television station in the People's Republic of China, the seat of the transmitter is Taiyuan in Shanxi Province.

Shanxi Television was founded in 1960 and aired in Shanxi province and in parts of the provinces of Inner Mongolia, Hebei and Shaanxi. About the Satellite Chinasat 6A and Chinasat 9 in a reach of 220 million viewers in China. In addition to its main transmitters SXTV -1 and -2 SXTV Shanxi Television still operates several niche channels, including one for children, an economic and an educational channel.
