Chinasat 9

Chinasat 9 ( 9 Zhongxing, ZX 9) is a geostationary communications satellite Chinasat the series, which is being built by Alcatel (since 2006 Thales Alenia Space) and started, but operated by the Chinese Post and Telecommunications Ministry. He was brought on 9 June 2008 by a rocket -type CZ -3B into space and positioned at 92.2 degrees East. Chinasat 9 is based on the Spacebus - 4000C1 platform from Alcatel and is equipped with 22 Ku-band transponders.
