Shefali Chowdhury

Shefali Chowdhury ( born June 20, 1988 in Denbigh, Wales ) is a British actress.

Life

Chowdhury comes from a Bengali family; her parents emigrated in the 1980s from Sylhet in Bangladesh to Britain. She pulled at the age of six years after Birmingham and grew up there.

Chowdhury was awarded the role of Parvati Patil as a student in her final year at Waverley School, Birmingham. She completed her A Levels in English Literature, Sociology and Religious Studies at Solihull Sixth Form College and then studied photography at the Birmingham City University.

She played Harry Potter's dance partner, Parvati Patil, at the Yule Ball in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. She repeated her role in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
