Denbigh

Denbigh (Welsh Dinbych ) is a small town in Wales. She was until 1888 the capital of the traditional county of Denbighshire.

In Denbigh found in 1882, 1939, 2001 and 2013 ( as a representative Denbighshires ) the Eisteddfod, a festival of literature, music and singing instead.

Denbigh Castle, a ruined 13th century, stands on the outskirts, near the historic city center. In the immediate vicinity are Leicester 's Church and St Hilary 's Chapel, in the east of the city lies the former Carmelite monastery Denbigh Friary.

Denbigh maintains since 1991 a partnership relationship with the German community Biebertal (Hessen).
