Shenphen Rinpoche

Lama Rinpoche Shenphen ( wylie: bla ma rin po che gzhan phan; Also: Lama Gendun Rabgye Tulku, wylie: bla ma dge 'dun rab rgyas sprul sku; born January 10, 1969 in France) is a Buddhist teacher ( lama ) of the tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. At the age of 16, he took the Buddhist Lama Gendun Rinpoche take refuge in, and laid shortly before Lama Zopa Rinpoche, the monk vows. The full ordination took place some time later by the 14th Dalai Lama in India. As a result, confirmed several llamas that he was the reincarnation ( tulku ) of Lama Gendun Rabgye from Kharnang monastery in Kham (Tibet). Therefore Lama wears Shenphen since his enthronement as one born of a few people in the West the title Rinpoche. In addition Lama Shenphen Rinpoche is one of the Lamas Buddhist monastery Sera Je University in southern India.

Teacher

Lama Rinpoche Shenphen first teacher was the Gelug master Khensur Geshe Rinpoche Tegchok. Other significant teachers were Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche, the Dalai Lama, Gomo Tulku Lama Gendun Rinpoche and ( Kagyu ) and Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche ( Nyingma ).

Activities

Lama Shenpen Rinpoche was invited to teach a very early what he's doing since 1986. After a few years in the monastery, he completed medical school in Paris ( Faculté Libre des Sciences de la Santé ) and addressed in the following five years with humanitarian activities mainly in India, Nepal and Russia ( street children ). He founded for the Amchi society to support the organizing relief missions. At the request of Lama Zopa Rinpoche, the spiritual director of the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition FPMT was Shenphen Rinpoche from 1998 to 2001 the head of a retreat center in Greece. In 2000, he founded the Buddhist Congregation Dharmaling as an umbrella organization for its activities. 2001 and 2002 lived Shenphen in Spain, where he established a Buddhist center. Since 2002 he lives permanently in Slovenia, where he founded the country's first Buddhist temple with a comprehensive program of teachings and practice. For lectures, he regularly travels to Hungary, Austria, France, Romania and Russia.

Lama Rinpoche Shenphen used for over 20 years to a method that will be used in the mantras and meditations to help people with mental and physical problems.

Tradition

Lama Rinpoche Shenphen is traditionally trained and has in Dharamsala and at Sera -Je Monastery ( India), but also in Kharnang Monastery ( Tibet) transmissions from different masters of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition received. It aims to teach, which is exempt from cultural impregnations from Tibet and beyond the various restriction associated with the educational and political roots of Tibetan society and differentiation in schools ( Nyingma, Sakya, Kagyu, Gelug ) from a Buddhism.

Rinpoche encourages a Buddhism that is more integrated into the society and the general public more services offers ( visits to the hospital, education in schools, etc.) to apply the Dharma in daily life. Rinpoche therefore worth considering for years, such as the transmission lineage of Tibetan Buddhism - without degrading them - can be adapted to the West. This adaptation includes the dress with a; Rinpoche also thinking about a "Western" version of the Buddhist robes.
