Sherwood B. Idso

Sherwood B. Idso (December 6, 1942 in Thief River Falls, Minnesota) is an American Limnologist. He was watchers physical waters in the U.S. Department of Agriculture and several research institutions. He was associate professor at the University of Arizona in Tucson and explored the stratification stability and the vertical exchange of water in lakes.

He runs along with his two sons, Craig and Keith Idso the " Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change " ( co2science.org ), which represents in the controversy surrounding global warming skeptic positions. In particular, it assumes that all climate change go back mainly on natural processes. He also points to possible positive consequences of climate change that would outweigh his opinion the negative.
