Sherwood Content
Parish
Sherwood Content is a dispersed settlement in the north of Jamaica. The town is located in County Cornwall in Trelawny Parish. The exact population is not known. The community is made up of the former individual settlements content, Coxheath, Piedmont and Sherwood.
Etymology
The name Sherwood Content is made up of the two place names and Sherwood Content, the two largest settlements of the previously independent municipalities together.
Geography
Sherwood Content is on average 210 meters above sea level. The hilly area within the city is heavily wooded. The nearest town is the Duanvale about five kilometers to the east. Falmouth, the capital and largest city of the Parish lies approximately 20 kilometers north along the coast.

Structures
In Sherwood Content are several preserved houses from the early 19th century, most however, are in poor condition.

The largest church in the village is the Waldensia Baptist Church.
