Shihe District

Shihe (Chinese浉 河 区) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Xinyang in Henan province. It has an area of 1783 km ² and has 600,000 inhabitants ( 2002).

Administrative Divisions

At the community level, Shihe of nine road districts, five large municipalities and four municipalities is composed. These are:

  • Road district Hudong (湖 东 街道), the seat of government of the municipality;
  • Road district Chezhan (车站 街道);
  • Road district Jinniushan (金牛山 街道);
  • Road district Laocheng (老城 街道);
  • Road district Minquan (民权 街道);
  • Road district Nanwan (南 湾 街道);
  • Road district Shuangjing (双井 街道);
  • Road district Wulidun (五里墩 街道);
  • Road district Wuxing (五星 街道);
  • Greater community Dongjia (董家 河镇);
  • Greater community Dongshuanghe (东 双 河镇);
  • Greater community Lijiazhai (李家 寨镇);
  • Greater community Shihegang (浉 河 港镇);
  • Greater community Wujiadian (吴家 店镇);
  • Community Liulin (柳林 乡);
  • Community Shisanliqiao (十三 里 桥乡);
  • Community Tanjiahe (谭家 河乡);
  • Community Youhe (游 河乡).
