Shim Suk-hee

Shim Suk- hee ( Kor. 심석희; * January 30, 1997 in Gangneung ) is a South Korean Shorttrackerin.

Career

Shim began at the age of seven years with the sport of short track speed skating. In the short track speed skating World Junior Championships 2012, she won five gold medals and one bronze medal. Also in 2012, she won in Innsbruck at the Winter Youth Olympic Games, the two gold medals in the individual events 500 and 1000 m. In addition, she won the bronze medal in the relay. She had her World Cup debut when she won the victory over 1500m in Calgary on October 20, 2012. Shim won three medals at the 2013 Short Track World Championships. At the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014, she won the season over 3000 m gold, 1500m silver and 1000m bronze. At the World Cup 2014 in Montreal, she won four gold medals.
