Shinchokusen Wakashū

Shinchokusen - Wakashū (Japanese新 敕 撰 和 歌集also:新 敕 撰 集Shinchoku - Senshu, dt about New Imperial Waka collection ) is a waka anthology that already detached from the Emperor Go - Horikawa ( 1212-1234 ) commissioned and ca. was completed in 1234. The compiler of the anthology was Fujiwara no Teika ( 1162-1241 ). The anthology includes 20 rolls with a total of 1,376 Waka.

The selection includes 47 poems by Fujiwara no Ietaka, 36 of Fujiwara no Yoshitsune, 35 of Fujiwara no Shunzei, 30 of Saionji Kintsune and 27 of Jakuren.
