Shirley Cawley

Shirley Cawley ( born April 26, 1932 in London) is a former British long jumper.

In 1952 she became a British champion. In the same year she won at the 1952 Olympics in Helsinki with her personal best of 5.92 m the bronze medal behind the New Zealander Yvette Williams ( 6.24 m) and the Soviet athlete Alexandra Tschudina ( 6.14 m).

In 1954, she finished seventh at the European Athletics Championships in Bern.
