Shock Troopers

Shock Troopers is a 1997 published " run and gun " arcade game of Saurus for Neo Geo.

Plot and gameplay

As a member of an armed special forces to fight with a game character through a total of six levels to rescue a kidnapped scientist and his granddaughter. You can choose different routes (mountain, jungle, valley ) and collect powerups to get better weapons.

Successor

1998 appeared the successor Shock Troopers: 2nd Squad.

Reissues

The game was included, among others, on the SNK Arcade Classics Vol 1 for PlayStation 2.

In May 2012, it was added as a download in the PSN Store for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable; in October 2012 was followed by a publication on Virtual Console for Wii.
