Shogun is a board game from Dirk Henn. It appeared in 2006 Queen Games and is played by three to five players from a recommended age of twelve. A game lasts 90-120 minutes according to the manufacturer but rather tends to 240 minutes. Shogun has been developed from the previous game is no longer available Wallenstein by Dirk Henn from the year 2002.
Historical meaning of the name
The Shogun ruled Japan as an imperial commander. He was from the Middle Ages to the 19th century in Japanese politics more powerful than the emperor and is the namesake of this board game.
