Shokukokin Wakashū

Shokukokin - Wakashū ( Japanese:続 古今 和 歌集also:続 古今 集Shokukokinshū, dt about continuation of the collection of Waka from ancient and modern times ) is an anthology of waka Kamakura period, the already detached from the Emperor Go - Saga ( 1220-1272) was commissioned in 1259 and completed in 1265. The compiler of the anthology was Fujiwara no Tameie (1198-1275), son of the compiler, Fujiwara no Teika. Composed of Fujiwara no Motoie, Fujiwara no Ieyoshi, Fujiwara no Yukiee, and Fujiwara no Mitsutoshi The anthology includes 20 rolls with a total of 1,915 Waka in 10 sections.

The title of the anthology refers to the collection Kokin - Wakashū.
