Shūnan, Yamaguchi

Shunan (Japanese周 南市, -shi ) is a city in Yamaguchi Prefecture in Japan.

Geography

Shunan located west of Iwakuni Yamaguchi and east of the Seto Inland Sea.

History

The city Shunan was on 21 April 2003, the former towns Tokuyama (徳 山 市, -shi) and Shinnan'yō (新 南阳 市, -shi), as well as the communities Kumage (熊 毛 町, -chō ) of the district Kumage and Kano (鹿野 町, -chō ) of the district Tsuno founded.
