The Shuya (Russian Шуя; Finnish Suojoki ) is a river in the Republic of Karelia in northwest Russia.

The 194 km long river has its source in the lake Suoyarvi. From there it flows in a southerly direction, later it turns east and flows north from Petrozavodsk in the Logmosero and Lake Onega. At about half-way, Shuja flows through the two lakes Schotosero and Wagatosero. In the latter, Sjanga, the runoff flows out of the lake Sjamosero.
