Sibelius Hall

The Sibelius Hall is a concert and congress hall in Lahti, Finland named after the Finland-Swedish composer Jean Sibelius. The constructed wooden hall was completed in March 2000 and has 1,250 seats. The architects Hannu Tikka and Kimmo are Lintula, the acoustics were designed by Artec Consultants, New York. The idea for the hall evolved from an architectural competition, which included the integration of an old saw mill built in 1907 in the new building.

The hall is the venue of the Finnish Lahti Symphony Orchestra.
