Siegbert Schmeisser
Siegbert Schmeisser ( born March 24, 1957 in Gera, East Germany ) is a retired German racing cyclist, who was active on the road and the track.
He took a 19 -year-old participated in the Summer Olympic Games in 1976 but could not finish the 175- mile road race in Montreal. His major achievements include winning the GDR Tour 1976 Tour of Bulgaria in 1977 and two stage wins at the Peace Race in 1977 and 1978.
