Atos IT Solutions and Services GmbH ( from the English solutions and services for " solutions and services") is the German subsidiary of French IT service provider Atos. The company provides business consulting, systems integration, management of IT infrastructures and industry-specific IT solutions and thus covers from consulting to system integration and maintenance of the entire IT service chain from a single line from.

History

SIS originally arose from the spin-off of Siemens' internal IT departments of the areas into a separate company. The Siemens Business Services GmbH & Co. OHG was founded on 1 October 1995 as a subsidiary of Siemens AG. This young company started with 2,100 employees and generated a turnover of one billion German Mark during his first year in business. The core business was in the range of services especially for the Siemens AG.

On 1 October 1998 Siemens Nixdorf was dissolved as a corporation and fully integrated into the Siemens AG, where large parts migrated to SBS. The SNI hardware and computer manufacturing was introduced into the joint venture Fujitsu Siemens Computers AG in 1999.
